My recent stay at this cozy house in Bologna was a delight. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the main tourist squares and within easy reach of bars and restaurants. The building itself had a charming character with lots of quirks, adding to the overall experience. The host, Chiara, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. She spoke excellent English, which was a bonus for me since my Italian is basic. The house was spotlessly clean and the rooms were cozy, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The value for money was exceptional, making it a great choice for budget travelers like myself. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the coffee was simply divine. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as the low ceiling and occasional noise from the nearby road, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its warm hospitality, great location, and overall amazing experience.

Clean and comfortable room. Decoration and furnishings new and tasteful. Helpful, polite and friendly staff. Breakfast fresh - nice homemade bread. Small garden at the back which would be nice to have breakfast in during the summer.

My room was in the attic with quite low beams and only dormer windows - not ideal for tall people! With being close to the hospital, there was a bit of noise from sirens but otherwise it was quite quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Munay in Bologna. The room was cozy and equipped with everything we needed. The bed linen and towels were soft, and the shower had great pressure. We loved being able to adjust the heating in our room, and the common room and garden at the back of the building were a great bonus. Chiare, the host, was very quick to answer all of our questions. The location was convenient, with a bus stop right next to the house, but the city center was also within walking distance. We also appreciated the nearby supermarket with a great variety of items. Casa Munay created a beautiful atmosphere for its guests.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was ideal, with easy access to the major sites and the city center. The hotel was very clean and quiet, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. We also appreciated the onsite parking, which made it convenient for us to explore the city. Additionally, the staff were welcoming and efficient, allowing us to check in early and providing great service throughout our stay.

The rooms are perfectly clean. Staff very helpful, breakfast is very correct, with coffe made on demand. Nice little garden, that should be very appreciable during summer time. We booked this hotel for our arrival to bologna, and booked it again for our deprature a week later. Really enjoyed the stay there.

The hotel is a good 10 to 15min walk to the town centre.

Tastefully decorated, small b&b, with client-friendly and service- oriented leadership/staff. Excellent breakfast for which guests share the large breakfast table. Breakfast room has view on the garden...

While everything was lovely, if there is a next time for us, I would want to have another room not in the attic. We had to pay attention and walk with our heads down in most parts of the large and well decorated room!

The villa is a charming mix of the 20th century and modern art. Loved the airport shuttle and garden, but I didn't bring my pet so I can't comment on that. Free WiFi is a bonus.

Who needs a coffee or tea? Not me. I'd rather deal with a friendly reception and a blocked washbasin any day.

Very unfriendly staff, did not speak English, and made us feel unwelcome.

The hotel's decoration was charming, with beautiful artwork and cozy furniture in the common areas. The accessibility for senior people was excellent, with ramps and handrails throughout the hotel, making it easy to navigate for those with mobility issues.

I would have liked to see more assistance from the staff in catering to the needs of senior guests. They were helpful but seemed a bit overwhelmed at times.

my second stay in bologna was even better thanks to casa munay - a charming and welcoming hotel. the room had a peaceful view of the backyard, and the staff provided thoughtful amenities like coffee and cookies. the nearby bus stop made exploring the city a breeze.

This place is great! The owner is wonderful - friendly, helpful and incredible with languages! The hotel is unique. There are lovely little artist pieces scattered throughout and bold, yet subtle colour schemes marking out the different areas of the hotel as you make your way through the property to your room. The rooms are very comfortable, with everything you need for your stay. The wi-fi was excellent and the parking easy and convenient. The historic centre is a flat 20 minute walk away. There’s also a bus, if you didn’t fancy the walk. We walked each day and it was fine. I would highly recommend this hotel.
